Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Policy
We offer a hassle-free cancellation policy with zero cancellation fees . You may cancel your order at any time from the moment it is placed until its status changes to "Out for Delivery."
How to Cancel:
Within the Edlas app, navigate to:
Stationary > Details > My Orders > Order Details > Cancel Order.
Once an order is marked as "Out for Delivery," the cancellation option is disabled.
2. Open Box Delivery (OBD)
To ensure transparency and customer satisfaction, all orders are fulfilled via a mandatory Open Box Delivery model.
- Inspection: You are required to open and inspect the contents (condition, quantity, and accuracy) in the presence of the delivery partner.
- All-or-Nothing Rule: We do not support partial rejections. You must either accept the entire order or reject the entire order at the doorstep.
- Courier Conflict: If a delivery partner refuses to allow an Open Box inspection, do not accept the delivery. Please reject the order and report the incident via the "Need Help?" section in the app.
- Finality: Acceptance of the order serves as your confirmation that the products were received in good condition. Edlas is not liable for "wrong product" or "physical damage" claims once the delivery partner has departed.
3. Electronic Items (Calculators)
For electronic items, customers are responsible for conducting a basic "Power-On" test during the Open Box inspection. Acceptance of the delivery constitutes proof that the device was functional at the time of receipt. While we may investigate functional issues reported later, refunds or replacements for electronics are not guaranteed post-acceptance.
4. Post-Delivery Support & Response Time
If you discover a manufacturing defect or an issue after the delivery is completed:
- Raise a ticket via the "Need Help?" menu on the Order Details page.
- Required Documentation: Immediately email clear photos/videos of the product and the original packaging to support@edlas.in.
- Response Time: Our support team typically responds to queries within three (3) business days, though this may vary depending on the complexity of the situation.
- Resolution: As all items undergo a doorstep inspection, post-delivery refunds or replacements are granted at the sole discretion of Edlas and are not guaranteed.
5. Refund Process
- Initiation: For cancelled or rejected prepaid orders, Edlas initiates the refund within 24 hours.
- Bank Timeline: The time taken for funds to reflect in your original payment method is governed by the payment gateway and your bank. This typically takes 5 to 7 business days.
- COD Orders: No payment is required for orders rejected under the Open Box Delivery policy.
6. Right to Modify
Edlas reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of your order placement will govern that specific transaction.
